Above is the outline timetable for this year. In general, we will be open for 3 days
per week until the end of September. The Summer school holidays for our area
cover Hants and Sussex but due to a lack of available volunteers, we cannot
guarantee being open during holiday periods. We will definitely open on Weds,
Sats and Sundays through the holiday period. Mondays and Fridays are
working days for the regulars, but we will try to offer a limited, Diesel only,
service on these 2 days. All opening days are obviously subject to weather
conditions.
The steam locomotives will operate in the afternoons of Saturday and Sundays
only.
If you wish to ride on a Monday or Friday during the Summer holidays and will
be travelling a fair distance, may I suggest that you E-mail me via the Contacts
page or by phone 02392471372 (Evenings).
The SPLR has a dedicated carriage for a powered or un-powered wheel chair
and 2 carers. Though not necessary, a prior phone call will avoid any delay,
although the shunting required to couple the carriage can prove interesting at
times!!

The car park at the rear of the Garden Centre is complete and access to the
Railway can now be gained from there. Signage is a bit basic, but just head for
the left hand far corner of the Car Park and you're there.
Alternatively, the access can be via a roundabout route through the House
grounds. A lovely walk, past the Tea rooms, through the Aboretum, across the
track and through the Well Head Garden, about 1/2mile. The route will be
signposted. We had thought of using the Maze Halt for loading but its not
finished yet (no paving on the edge). It will be finished when we get a round tuit
(In short supply at the moment)

Arboretum will be locked until Easter.

Since there considerable differences in half-term holidays in the Hants and Sussex
regions, a calender seems to be not much use.
Our normal running days are Wed, Sat and Sunday, but we will be on site on
Mondays and Fridays. During your half term, a phone call to the Station (02392
413324 will establish whether or not we will run. We will do our best to accomodate
you.

Halloween Weekend. Spot the ghosts and Ghoulies,
November 8th.
Xmas Preview night. Santa will be present and a night run will operate till late.

Adult rides=£1-50
Children over 2=£1-00
Teddys & Children under 2 ride free (but get a ticket anyway)
We don't do Season Tickets, but 4 ride tickets are available with a £1-00 discount.
These tickets are open ended and can be used throughout the season, or for
Family Rides.
